Lux Inn is a modest accommodation located at 325 Oldham Rd, Manchester, offering a convenient base for visitors aiming to explore the city’s vibrant center, just a five-minute drive away. This brand, while rated at 2.1, appeals primarily to travelers seeking a short, no-frills stay in a clean, compact apartment setting.
The property stands out for its business-friendly amenities, making it suitable for professionals on brief visits. It caters well to guests interested in sightseeing and local recreation, providing easy access to Manchester’s cultural and commercial attractions.
However, prospective guests should approach with caution regarding the deposit policy. A notable concern highlighted by customers is the high £400 deposit and the difficulties some experienced in receiving refunds promptly. Inconsistent communication around deposit returns has been reported, which may affect the overall stay satisfaction.
Despite its cleanliness and practical location, the unresolved issues surrounding the deposit and customer service suggest that Lux Inn may not yet deliver a seamless guest experience. Therefore, those considering Lux Inn should weigh its affordability and location benefits against the risk of administrative challenges.
In sum, Lux Inn occupies a niche for travelers who prioritize proximity to Manchester’s core and cleanliness but remain mindful of potential hurdles in reservation formalities and deposit management. It reflects a straightforward hospitality option that could improve with greater transparency and enhanced customer care.

Pros: Lovely little apartment for a quick one nighter, 5 min by car to centre of Manchester. Spotlessly clean. Cons: Deposit extremely high (£400) and BE WARY as had to chase for return, owner attempts to give many various invalid reasons for not returning it such as "insufficient identification when booking in" although he give us the keys and allowed us to stay? Partner had to have a few harsh words with him before it was returned. Due to this we wouldn't book again, which is a shame.
